RECEIVED A BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS DEGREE IN ART EDUCATION IN 2019 FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF WEST GEORGIA. SHE HAS BEEN TEACHING AT THE P-12 GRADE LEVELS FOR 20+ YEARS. KARISSA HAS TAUGHT IN PUBLIC, PRIVATE, COMMUNITY AND HOMESCHOOL EDUCATION SYSTEMS. HER PASSION IS FACILITATING THE DISCOVERY OF THE ARTIST WITHIN EACH HUMAN BEING. KARISSA VIEWS ART MAKING AS A THERAPEUTIC PROCESS OF SELF EXPRESSION FOR ALL ABILITIES AND STYLES OF LEARNING.
