SARAH ROBERTS
Studio Artist, Instructor
I am Sarah Roberts, a professional hand embroiderer & East Atl resident with decades of experience learning and teaching textile craft. I was a self-taught home embroiderer and sewist until seeking formal training in 2021. Since then I have been learning from Royal School of Needlework tutors and formed embroidery friendships across the country & globe!
I have taught hand embroidery in an array of settings across Metro Atlanta and the Southeast. Breweries, private parties, and in sewing studios to name a few. My goal as an instructor of art craft is for participants to feel successful & relaxed in class so they are set up to continue to deepen their creative curiosity independently!
My other textile learning practice is lacemaking. This began in 2021 and has taught me so much about how to be a student of craft as well as an instructor.

Erin Drakeford
Studio Artist, Instructor
Erin Drakeford is an Atlanta-based painter whose work is a whirlwind of bright colors on canvas with subjects that vacillate between figure and abstraction. Her paintings are often diaristic and center on the body and the unruly and shifting layers of her human experience, exploring the tension between chaos and control, intimacy and detachment. There is a quiet pull toward darkness in her paintings where raw, sketchy charcoal marks show through and the imagery blurs and distorts. Rather than correcting it, she allows these errors to remain and treats them as a sign of power, acceptance, and self-reflection.She earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Georgia in 2003.
ACE THE GREAT
Studio Artist, Instructor
I am Ace the Great, a self-taught visual artist working primarily with acrylic on canvas, while also exploring body painting, digital graphics, collage, spray paint, and drawing. My work lives in a colorful, cartoon-influenced surrealism where symbolism, storytelling, and duality intersect, guided by meditative spirituality. Through bold color and layered imagery, I create visual narratives that balance whimsy and depth, inviting reflection on the space between the playful and the profound.
KIM MUHLHEIM
